Why Evolution ?

Evolution infers incremental development, it suggests a stages of growth that build on each other and unfold for the ultimate benefit of the whole organisation. I believe that change should be built on a core foundation of the existing good practice, and organisation learning, informs each new development. I work with an organisation to recognise and keep what is effective and limit the inefficiencies. As a partnership, we plan which outmoded processes or interactions should be changed, and what can evolve as better way of working or behaving.

This is different from change management that introduces a radical change destroying working relationships and effective processes. It can create chaos instead of productivity. Though these change programmes sound active and speedy, they can be counter –productive, when designed and implemented with intrusive speed, and extensive scope.

Evolutionary change is incremental; it becomes integrated into every-day working practice. As the organisation changes, the benefits arrive in a paced way. These changes are implement without bruising and chaos, and results are achieved which are sustainable and organic.
